In our modern digital world, cyber security is more important than ever. In order to support the National Cyber Security Centre's aim to make the UK the safest place to live and do business online, 10 regional ROCUs were established.

In this ROCU, we work with the Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire police forces and are ideally placed to support businesses, organisations and groups in need of cyber security advice and support
What Is The Purpose Of This Site
One of our key aims, is to raise the profile of cyber security within schools - developing robust infrastructures to deliver the 'Prepare', 'Protect' and 'Prevent' national strategies. In this sense, 'Prepare' and 'Protect' means helping staff, students and parents to recognise common cyber threats and know what steps to take to mitigate them. 'Prevent', on the other hand, seeks to dissuade young people on the cusp of cyber criminality and proactively encourage legitimate and worthwhile use of technology.
